BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) is the “postal service” of the internet.
It’s the protocol that decides the best path for data to travel between different networks, known as Autonomous Systems (AS).
BGP is often called a Path Vector Protocol because it selects routes based on path information.
